Hope Christian Health Center is the Only Faith-Based Federally Qualified Health Center in Nevada

Our mission is to share the love of Jesus and glorify God through our words, actions, and lives. This includes ministering to the physical and spiritual health of every patient. If you would like prayer, please don’t hesitate to call us or ask any of our staff during your appointment. We are also happy to provide various resources to help you learn more about Jesus, such as Bibles and devotional books. If you are interested in visiting or joining a church, please inform our staff so we can share more information with you! 

Mission Development Director: Pastor Felipe

Pastor Felipe first encountered HCHC during the April 2023 Foot Washing event HCHC hosted at the Courtyard Homeless Resource Center. Upon learning about HCHC's mission and outreach opportunities, he immediately asked "How can I be a part of this?" Outreach is very close to Pastor Felipe's heart and he is very passionate about sharing the Gospel with anyone who wants and needs to hear it. He believes that people are seeking answers and that Jesus is the one who can help each of us. Pastor Felipe also recognizes the great need for healthcare and that not everyone can afford it. He is happy to be part of a clinic that offers healthcare services to everyone. Pastor Felipe has been a part of the North Las Vegas community for 20 years and it gives him great satisfaction to be able to give back. 
Pastor Felipe has been a pastor with Hope Church in Las Vegas for the last 19 years. He also helped establish and served as the pastor of a small mission church in Mesquite, Nevada, and another one in St. George, Utah along with his wife Elizabeth. As a senior pastor, he has had the opportunity to counsel people through diverse situations and problems. Pastor Felipe and his wife work very closely with young people and give counsel when needed as facing the world without guidance can be difficult without support.
Pastor Felipe was born in Mexico and migrated to the United States at the age of 9. As a child, he had to overcome the fear of learning a new language (English being his second!) and a new culture. He enjoys traveling to Ensenada, Baja California in Mexico. He also enjoys fishing, spending time with his family, and traveling with his wife who is an awesome travel companion!
Pastor Felipe and his wife have been married for 25 years and he couldn’t have asked for a better life partner. Together they have three children, Felipe Jr., Matthew and Elizabeth Ludim. God also gave them a bonus son named Nicolas, who has been part of the family for the last three years. Pastor Felipe and his wife enjoy each child and love them unconditionally.  
Pastor Felipe feels very honored to be a part of HCHC. He thanks God for the opportunity to be able to serve our community through the ministry of HCHC at this time. He looks forward to all opportunities and moments of sharing God with others.

Spiritual Support from Pastor Felipe

  • Provides spiritual support to patients through prayer and conversations to ensure the patient’s spiritual needs are being met if desired by the patient. This includes spiritual comfort to those who are facing end-of-life challenges and/or difficult results.
  • Collaborates with the medical teams in providing total patient care which includes physical, mental, and spiritual care.
