Medical Outreach Street Team

MOST (Medical Outreach Street Team)

Our Medical Outreach Street Team brings Hope to the streets of Las Vegas. Many individuals experiencing homelessness cannot get the healthcare they desperately need due to current life circumstances and lack of reliable transportation. Our street team has a heart to see and meet these individuals where they are. We are committed to delivering excellent healthcare with dignity and respect to all in need.

Jennifer Austin

STREET TEAM PROGRAM MANAGER, RN

Jennifer Austin is the Street Medicine Program Manager at Hope Christian Health Centers. She has almost 20 years of RN experience, in primarily non-traditional settings.  For the past two and a half years, Jennifer has had the privilege of volunteering her time to provide wound care and support to the homeless community here in Las Vegas. She truly believes that God called her to Hope Christian Health Centers, where through collaborative effort, and a mutual desire to serve others, as God has called us to do, the Street Medicine Team was born.  It is His love that drives Jennifer to meet people where they are—with compassion, dignity, and hope. Every day is an opportunity to make a difference, and she is honored to be a part of this mission.

Yonnabelyn Arteaga

She is also a full-time student, currently pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Nursing. Yonna’s goal is to become a compassionate nurse who uses her skills to meet and help people wherever they are in life.

She is humbled by the experiences that have shaped her career path and brought her to a place where she can serve the underserved her in my hometown. Yonna is grateful for the opportunity to share and live out my spiritual beliefs, spreading the love and word of God while helping to heal others—not only physically, but also spiritually.

As she continues to grow in her faith and profession, Yonna hopes to serve others by living by example through kindness, patience, and servant-hearted care that reflects Christ’s love.

Michelle Farrell

STREET TEAM COMMUNITY HEALTH WORKER, CHW

Michelle Farrell is a Community Health Worker with HOPE Christian Health Centers’ Street Medicine team in Las Vegas. As someone who personally experienced homelessness with her family, she understands the struggles of navigating healthcare during times of crisis. Now, Michelle has the privilege of serving others in similar situations and works to connect them with medical and social services, offering guidance, and showing compassion at every step.

Michelle says working at HOPE is both a blessing and a calling. Since joining, she has earned her CHW and Safe Talk Certifications and was honored with the Good Samaritan Award from Leadership. She is proud to be part of a Christ-centered team that brings not only medical care, but also dignity, prayer, and hope to the streets. Every day, I thank Jesus for the opportunity to share His love with those who need it most.
