Bi-Annual Foot-Washing Clinic

Did you know that the health of your feet can be an indicator of further health complications? With Jesus as our example, at Hope, we strive to humbly care for each individual we encounter with dignity and love. Our Foot-Washing clinic is an extension of this practice. By washing feet, we want to portray a humble heart and genuine desire to care for, and serve others. We see each patient as a whole individual and are honored to pray for their spiritual needs as we also care for their physical health with excellence. This event is practical and purposeful in cleaning feet while examining each foot for concerning sores, connecting the individual to our healthcare team onsite, providing tools to continue good foot hygiene, and praying with each person we encounter. In the fall of 2022, we had our inaugural Hands of Hope Foot-Washing Clinic to love and care for the unhoused in downtown Las Vegas. We washed approximately 150 people’s feet and provided them with new shoes, socks, and a foot-care kit.
