Sue Meier, who serves as a member of the board of directors, was raised in England and moved to the States in 1982, arriving at Nellis Air Force Base in 1993. After her husband retired from the U. S. Air Force they decided to remain in North Las Vegas. She has 3 children, 3 step-children, and now 3 grandchildren.
She trained as a medical assistant and has run the health office in an elementary school for over 15 years. Growing up in a country where everyone has access to medical care, regardless of income, she is excited that Hope paves a way to offering not only those in need, but anyone who desires professional, caring, Christian, medical services.
Sue has attended the Nellis Air Force Base Chapel since ’93 and her desire to serve led her into many different areas, not only within her church as Lay Reader and Children’s Church coordinator, but also for the Red Cross, Girl Scouts and the Nevada Southern Railroad Museum.
Sue considers it an honor and a privilege to serve on the Board at Hope Christian Health Center.
